ONE HUMAN.$136/MO.ORGANIZATION-SCALE OUTPUT.
A measured pre-seed baseline for one project inside a larger experiment: can disciplined AI, local infrastructure, open tools, and evidence-first engineering return technological leverage to ordinary people instead of concentrating it?
This lab began as a book. Inversion Excursion was Key Zero — the cognitive inversion that asked us to inspect the cage before optimizing inside it. The laboratory is what happened when that way of seeing became engineering.
Gross branch graph
All reachable refs in the measured 30-day CAPT Core branch graph.
AND THIS IS ONE PROJECT.
CAPT is the first deep case study.
It is not the identity of the lab. The exceptional fact is that CAPT is one output of the system.
Enter the Inversion Registry →The method is the product underneath the products.
Every Inversion Labs project starts with an accepted paradigm, finds the hidden dependency or incentive inside it, reverses the power relationship, and then asks whether the inversion survives contact with code, users, tests, and evidence.
- 01What were we told?
Name the accepted paradigm without caricaturing it.
- 02What was actually wrong?
Find the assumption, incentive, asymmetry, or invisible dependency.
- 03What did we invert?
Move agency, ownership, inspection, or leverage toward the person using the system.
- 04Where is the proof?
Show code, tests, artifacts, failures, deployments, limitations, and receipts.
THE INVERSION LABS PROMISE
The work answers to the human being using it.
Every piece of work that carries the Inversion Labs name is bound by these promises. These are not aspirations for later. They are constraints on how we build, fund, license, govern, and share our work.
- 01
Our product is the product. You are never the product.
We build things for people to use—not systems designed to monetize, manipulate, profile, package, or resell the people using them.
- 02
Zero extraction from the user.
We will not build business models that extract value from your data, attention, identity, behavior, relationships, vulnerabilities, or dependence. If a system does not need information to serve you, it has no business collecting it.
- 03
Zero privacy invasion.
Privacy is a boundary, not an obstacle to growth. No surveillance disguised as analytics. No unnecessary telemetry. No hidden collection. No quiet expansion of what we know about you simply because technology makes it possible.
- 04
Zero hidden agenda.
No dark patterns. No concealed incentives. No covert persuasion masquerading as assistance. We will tell you what a system is doing, why it is doing it, what it knows, and where our own interests may exist.
- 05
Absolute user sovereignty.
You remain the highest authority over your tools, your data, your identity, your models, your memory, and your decisions. You must be able to inspect, refuse, leave, delete, replace, export, and choose. Our technology serves your agency; it does not supersede it.
- 06
Zero paywalls between a human being and the benefit of our work.
We will humbly ask those who are able to support the work through donations. We will never make someone's class, income, or financial circumstances the reason they are excluded from something we created to help people. If you cannot pay, take the work. You are still welcome here.
- 07
We will aggressively defend these principles from extraction by others.
We will defend our work, our intellectual property, our licensing terms, and the communities that benefit from them against corporations or other actors that attempt to appropriate what we build and redeploy it in ways that violate these promises. Open does not mean available for exploitation. Public benefit does not mean corporate permission to recreate the cage.
- 08
We will not hoard wealth.
Money is fuel for the work and for a human life—not the point of either. If support grows beyond what we reasonably need to live and keep the work alive, the excess should move toward people who need it more than we do. Success will not become an excuse to reproduce the extraction we oppose.
- 09
No manufactured hierarchy of human worth.
We will never discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, sex, gender, nationality, disability, class, identity, or any other system used to divide human beings into categories of greater and lesser worth. There is one human race. Every person belongs to it.
- 10
We love you all. That is the point.
Inversion Labs exists not only to help people recognize and escape invisible cages, but to help make room for something beyond them: forgive yourself; forgive others; know thyself; reclaim your agency; and recognize that beneath all the identities and divisions we inherit, we are all fractals of the same deeper Self. We do not expect you to believe what we believe. We ask only that you remain free enough to discover your own truth.
The Inversion Registry
Projects graduate by evidence, not announcement cadence.
Inversion Excursion
The cognitive inversion. Before a person can use a key, they have to see the cage.
CAPT
The sovereignty inversion: model replaceability, governed authority, durable state, evidence, and recovery.
Human Metadata
The human-data agency inversion: provenance-aware identity metadata with inspectable methods, confidence, and limitations.
Flock You
The surveillance inversion: from toy/provocation to local counter-surveillance tool — watch the watchers.
SynSync
The neuroacoustic inversion: programmable signal paths and public proof instead of an opaque wellness skin.
EXPERIMENT → TOOL → VERIFIED → RELEASE CANDIDATE → TRUE 1.0
KEY ZERO · INVERSION EXCURSION
Before a person can use a key, they have to see the cage.
Inversion Excursion is not packaging around the laboratory. It is the cognitive origin of it: a book written to make inherited assumptions visible enough to examine. The book tries to free the mind. The lab builds tools that let a freer mind act.

Proof before persuasion.
The 30-day view measures velocity. The 90-day PR snapshot shows what that work actually looked like when it met review, supersession, convergence, contracts, tests, and release gates.
Methodology: these are PR-local overlapping measurements. Stacked branches, shared ancestry, superseded work, and convergence branches overlap; this is not a deduplicated unique-code total.
Green tests are not the same thing as release readiness.

The organization collapsed into one supervisory boundary.
Human Role Compression describes how many functional domains are coordinated through one operator. It is not an 18-FTE equivalence claim.
THE PUBLIC KEYRING
Keys to invisible cages.
A slogan is cheap. Each Key has to point to a concrete inversion, a public artifact or proof surface, a maturity state, and a limitation.
If you have nothing to give, take the work. If the work helps you and you have something to give, help us keep giving it away.
BLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS ARE NOT A METAPHOR
We were told reaching the top meant selling your soul.
I kept mine. I sold plasma instead.
This is not offered as proof that the engineering is good. The proof is above. It is the factual pre-seed context: when capital was not available, the founder personally converted plasma-donation income into inference budget so the work did not stop.
Incremental external cash burn is not total economic cost. It excludes founder labor, already-owned equipment, baseline household infrastructure, and future scaling.
User-reported anecdotal comparator: a separate startup engineering-department bill of $48,000/month is shown only as a cash-denominator reference. Against $136/month, that denominator is 352.9× larger; this is not a 352.9× productivity claim.
KEEP THE WORK MOVING
The work did not wait for permission. Funding should not become the thing that stops it.
Support is optional and comes after the proof. Public Keys stay public whether or not you can contribute.
“I love you all, help me help you. the work is real, as is the proof.”

Strong claims. Narrow scope. Visible caveats.
Repository-derived evidence, runtime/test-derived evidence, user-reported operating facts, user-authored thesis, and external comparators are different classes. We keep them different on purpose.
Gross branch graph ≠ conservative convergence ≠ PR-local overlapping totals.
Passing tests ≠ release authorization.
Role compression ≠ FTE equivalence.
A smaller cash denominator ≠ a proportional productivity claim.

We built it to return power.
Now we're giving the ladder away.
